Instructor for “Tai Chi for Arthritis”

In 2009 he started distance walking as part of a major surgery recovery process. As part of his preparation for the San Francisco marathon he took a course in Chi Running. This running style was developed by Tai Chi Master Danny Dreyer. In conjunction with his running he has taken several years of Yang Style Tia Chi training and also became a member of the Yang Family Tai Chi Chun Association International in 2011 after which he received Tai Chi training in Seattle with a Master Trainer. Looking for opportunities to expand his skills he recently completed the “Tai Chi for Arthritis for Fall Prevention” training course in Connecticut (in 2014) and received certification to teach this program. The certification is through the Dr. Paul Lam Tai Chi for Health Institute. He is also a member of the “Tai Chi for Health Community”. Dennis looks forward to bringing the benefits of Tai Chi for Arthritis for Fall Prevention to our area.

This class is open to all, no need to have a diagnosis of arthritis or experience in Tai Chi, just a desire to improve balance and fall prevention.
